Elder Jack Flannery

I feel privileged to have been called by God to serve The Church on Higher Ground as an Elder.  I love and care for all of my church family that have been entrusted to me and desire to help them when needed.

My calling is to watch over the flock and I do this willingly and humbly before the Lord.  I am accountable to God in this calling, so it is very important to pray, guide, instruct, teach and correct the flock when needed, to insure good spiritual health and growth.

James 5:14-15 states that the Elders are to be called to pray over the sick and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer offered in faith willl make the sick person well; the Lord will restore him to health.
