The Church on Higher Ground — An Upper Room Experience

The Church on Higher Ground was founded in 2005 by Pastor Evelyn D. Weber as Higher Ground Ministries.  The church started out in an upper room in an office building on Main Street in downtown Danbury with just three families.  Since then, the church has grown in leaps and bounds.

We are a Holy Spirit filled church that believes in giving up religious attitudes towards God and instead striving for a relationship with the Lord. We believe that the Bible is the only authoritative Word of God. And we believe that all believers have been commissioned to spread the good news of the Gospel to the entire world.
